“When people say, ‘I don’t get art’…that means art is working.”

That is a famous quote by John Maeda, an American executive, designer and technologist. Well, for the most part I could agree with his quote especially when the type of art is abstract. Even in graphics design, abstract art can still be used or expressed. But the great thing about abstract art or any other art that isn’t easily understood is that it may seem silly, weird or otherworldly but it is actually full of meaning and expressions. We may not appreciate art for its entirety but we can still understand the core essence of such a subtle but also colorful piece of design and that’s the beauty of it.
