What is a Logo?

According to Tailor Brands, logos are images, texts, shapes, or a combination of the three that depict the name and purpose of a business – to put it simply.
However, a logo can and should be more than a symbol of identification. If designed well, it also tells a company’s story, by conveying your brand message in a way that helps to establish an emotional connection with your target audience.

A logo is important for a number of reasons – mainly being that it:
• Makes a great first impression, which invites customers to interact with your brand
• Helps you to create a brand identity
• Gives your company a symbol through which people can better remember you

“Thinking about design is hard, but not thinking about it can be disastrous.”

Thinking about design is probably one of the toughest challenges that a designer could face in his projects and perhaps even in his career. Despite these, we, designers, do our best to overcome this and not get swayed by analysis paralysis or in other words, get stuck in thinking. The worst part is not getting stuck but instead, it is not thinking about design that is truly horrific. I, as a designer, do my best to not get stuck in paralysis analysis nor in not thinking of any design whatsoever. It is important for me to be proactive rather than reactive to the situation.
