Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design

Most brands and companies who have struggled in the past, have not only improved their products/services, but they have also invested in enhancing their design. Some would claim that focusing a percentage more in design than content is incredibly beneficial especially in the long-run. Design is an empowering and vital element in a brand or company’s progress and continued success. It’s that empowering that it can exceed the prowess of the content. Designers, masters of their craft, are the best at that. They examine the need or problem, then that would determine what they shouldn’t do. Afterwards, they will seek to light up the solution and that is design. In the end, design paves the way.

E-Blog 02: "Ang Probinsyano" vs PNP

We recently discussed the dispute between “Ang Probinsyano” and the Philippine National Police. We had to pick out our partners and we had to choose which side we’re on. Well, before picking any side, my partner and I had to first watch the video regarding the said dispute because we have no idea what is happening between them. That may be because we don’t watch the TV series, or the news nor do we care about such matters, frankly speaking. After knowing about it, that’s the only time we were able to pick sides. Individually, we gathered 3 important pieces of evidence that would support our claim. Later on, we discussed it with our partners then compiled our works into a single Powerpoint presentation. Afterwards, the class was divided into two: those which sided with “Ang Probinsyano” and those with the PNP.
