2.    Smashing stereotypes - illustrators are feeling encouraged to break away from caricature and explore more nuanced and multi-dimensional portrayals of women that confront the status quo
3.    Colour gradients - seen in an increasing number of logo designs
4.    Custom fonts - extra personality to typography
5.    Striving for simplicity - Consumers are now used to seeing a flatter, cleaner, uncluttered design aesthetic in the apps and sites they use
6.    Super-functional logos - return to classic logo design, where less is more
7.    Pastel hues - create a friendly, human feel
8.    Disruptive typography - more personality
9.    Motion graphics in branding - motion design is now deeply embedded in the customer journey
10.    Tactile typography - physical materials in their letterforms
11.    Playful illustration - Clear, bold shapes and lines with bright colour palettes and sometimes an ironic retro feel are certainly a must

“Everything is design. Everything!”

Wherever you may go and whatever you may see, design will always be there. May it be from posters, walls, tables, chairs, mugs, chandeliers, banners, phones, computers, shoes, clothes and the list go on but the mere fact stays that everything is designed. If you want something done for your product, service, brand or business, then the best approach would be to find a designer because they are the ones who design everything that you can see. I, as a designer, focused my craft majorly in logo design and graphic design. I just find it more into what I can and want to do, that even the software I use to create these designs are also akin to my skills. You read it right. Math is easy and design is hard. Most people would argue with this quote because they would say that Math is definitely harder but for most cases, these are the exact people who haven’t tried out to design just yet. Like Math, Design needs to be learned in a span of a long time. It takes a lot of focus, skill, patience and ideas. This is where designers come into place. E-Blog 02: "Ang Probinsyano" vs PNP

We recently discussed the dispute between “Ang Probinsyano” and the Philippine National Police. We had to pick out our partners and we had to choose which side we’re on. Well, before picking any side, my partner and I had to first watch the video regarding the said dispute because we have no idea what is happening between them. That may be because we don’t watch the TV series, or the news nor do we care about such matters, frankly speaking. After knowing about it, that’s the only time we were able to pick sides. Individually, we gathered 3 important pieces of evidence that would support our claim. Later on, we discussed it with our partners then compiled our works into a single Powerpoint presentation. Afterwards, the class was divided into two: those which sided with “Ang Probinsyano” and those with the PNP.
