“Great design is about simplicity.”

What most people would think or say is that great design requires a lot of details, a lot of colors, a lot of content and so much more. They think that to have great design means a great number of these which they think is essential. Truth be told, it’s actually the contrary to that. Great design does not to be flooded with these but instead great design requires the detail, color, content and the like to be at a minimum level. Despite being at the minimum level, the art or design’s message is still fruitful and vibrant. That’s what you call minimalistic art which can be incorporated in design as well that brings out its fullness.

Great designers relish the details, but never lose sight of the bigger picture. They know that while tools and tricks may come and go, the big picture is always the same: Solving a problem for your user. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter which platform yo...

“Leonardo da Vinci combined art and science and aesthetics and engineering, that kind of unity is needed once again.”

Leonardo da Vinci was a great artist in an age of great artists. Some may even argue that he is indeed the best. In our world today, we also have great artists who have blossomed.
