1.    Do Your Homework - It is important to look at others works so you can get an inspiration and to take note what you like and don’t like to be in your design.
2.    Space Out - Using white space effectively makes a design more attractive to the reader and easier to use.
3.    Decide on Content - If you want to have a great design, you must know the right message or the content that you want to communicate that would pique their interest and would also inform them.
4.    Simplify – Maximize minimalism in your design. The simpler your design, the better it would actually be.
5.    Focus on Fonts – The differences in fonts maybe subtle at times but it does pay the dividence.
6.    Contemplate Color - Color choice is more than just an aesthetic decision; colors often have symbolic meanings that can affect how a design is perceived
7.    Stay On Message - The best design is one that represents your brand or business most effectively.

Thinking about design is probably one of the toughest challenges that a designer could face in his projects and perhaps even in his career. Despite these, we, designers, do our best to overcome this and not get swayed by analysis paralysis or in other words, get stuck in thinking. The worst part is not getting stuck but instead, it is not thinking about design that is truly horrific. I, as a designer, do my best to not get stuck in paralysis analysis nor in not thinking of any design whatsoever. It is important for me to be proactive rather than reactive to the situation.
