“Design should never say, look at me. It should always say, look at this.”

Seven Tips for Eye-Catching Graphic Design

1.    Do Your Homework - It is important to look at others works so you can get an inspiration and to take note what you like and don’t like to be in your design.
2.    Space Out - Using white space effectively makes a design more attractive to the reader and easier to use.
3.    Decide on Content - If you want to have a great design, you must know the right message or the content that you want to communicate that would pique their interest and would also inform them.
4.    Simplify – Maximize minimalism in your design. The simpler your design, the better it would actually be.
5.    Focus on Fonts – The differences in fonts maybe subtle at times but it does pay the dividence.
6.    Contemplate Color - Color choice is more than just an aesthetic decision; colors often have symbolic meanings that can affect how a design is perceived
7.    Stay On Message - The best design is one that represents your brand or business most effectively.

About 50 years ago, in his quest to answer the question “Is my design a good design?”, he developed the 10 principles of good design , sometimes also known as 10 commandments. It’s amazing to see how valid these principles are today, so much that we might feel than even more than back then, when Rams actually wrote them! According to Dieter Rams, good design: Is innovative Makes a product useful Is aesthetic Makes a product understandable Is unobtrusive Is honest Is long-lasting Is thorough down to the last detail Is environmentally friendly Involves as little design as possible For the full explanation and major credits to: https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/article/dieter-rams-10-timeless-commandments-for-good-design You m

Well, before picking any side, my partner and I had to first watch the video regarding the said dispute because we have no idea what is happening between them. That may be because we don’t watch the TV series, or the news nor do we care about such matters, frankly speaking. After knowing about it, that’s the only time we were able to pick sides. Individually, we gathered 3 important pieces of evidence that would support our claim. Later on, we discussed it with our partners then compiled our works into a single Powerpoint presentation.  Afterwards, the class was divided into two: those which sided with “Ang Probinsyano” and those with the PNP. We had to write in the board all the things that made our claim right and as well, writing those which would make the opposing side wrong. After such, our teacher, being on a ne
