“Design is an opportunity to continue to telling the story, not just to sum everything up.”

Hello and a very good day to you, my dear friend! As a designer, I give major relevance to story-telling as the core of my design. I ensure to make my designs, not only aesthetically appealing, but also meaninful and rich in story that the audience may relate. Each element I put in my design shares an awesome amount in the story-telling process. After the story has been told, an important moral lesson or message must be shared to inform and to entice the minds of the audience. It’s definitely easier said than done but it can be done with the right amount of practice. “Design satisfies a need.”

As a designer, I wish to create something that is desired by many, especially the target audience. That is definitely easier said than done because to get the result that you want, you must also undergo the process. Believe me, it takes a lot of physical, mental, psychological process to achieve the desired. It takes a lot and soon enough fatigue steps in. Good thing I’m the type of person that loves the process if I also love what I do. Well, design is surely what I love to do.  I always try to find motivation and inspiration from my journeys and others’ journey. In the end, all I want to do with my design is that it will be able to satisfy a need. “Effective problem solving in design requires a balance of strategy, and spontaineity, intelligence and creativity.”

The Design Thinking Process •    Definition – where the problem is defined as best as possible prior to solving it •    Research – where the designers examine as much data as they feel necessary to be able to fully contribute to the problem solving process •    Ideation – where the designer commences creating possible solutions without examining their practicality until a large number of solutions has been proposed. Once this is done, impractical solutions are eliminated or played with until they become practical. •    Prototyping – where the best ideas are simulated in some means so that their value can be explored with users •    Choosing – where the best idea is selected from the multiple prototypes •    Implementing – where that idea is built and delivered as a product •    Testing – where the product is tested with the user in order to ensure that it solves the original problem in an effective manner Major credits to: https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/article/design
