Public Speaking


Hi there, fellow ka-tribo!

A few days ago, I just happen to passed by the BC building when I witnessed an ongoing Public Speaking contest. At first, I wasn’t interested because I have no skill whatsoever with such but once I heard their topic and their speeches, I was beyond mesmerized with the thoughts and opinions of our fellow ka-tribo. It was indeed powerful because it served as a discovery of new knowledge. It’s insanely good to hear it out from them and to be able to witness such a wonder. It is often an event overlooked by many because of disinterest which I’m also guilty of, but it’s actually a great moment to witness and to learn at the same time. 

I think we should support such events. I think we should attend and listen to the voices of our fellowmen. Come on now. Don’t slack off. Come on and learn with them, with us.

Math is easy. Design is hard.

You read it right. Math is easy and design is hard. Most people would argue with this quote because they would say that Math is definitely harder but for most cases, these are the exact people who haven’t tried out to design just yet. Like Math, Design needs to be learned in a span of a long time. It takes a lot of focus, skill, patience and ideas. This is where designers come into place.
