Ac01: ETHICS

On our first meeting, we have shared our very own thoughts and experiences regarding ethics. Why do we need to study it in our field? Well, ethics is not just a subject to be studied but a set of moral principles that we all have to follow as humans, as social beings. We need to inculcate in ourselves how ethics revolve in our daily lives and how it can manufacture our sense of integrity. We have to fully immerse ourselves with an idea that how we treat others reflects our very own character. In life, we must not religiously strive for fame and fortune but instead we must seek to be a person of great character. We can only do so by learning ethics and being able to apply it as part of our very own system. In every thing that we do, may it be in school, in work, in business or in life, as a whole, we must always strive to be ethical.

E-Blog 02: "Ang Probinsyano" vs PNP

We recently discussed the dispute between “Ang Probinsyano” and the Philippine National Police. We had to pick out our partners and we had to choose which side we’re on. Well, before picking any side, my partner and I had to first watch the video regarding the said dispute because we have no idea what is happening between them. That may be because we don’t watch the TV series, or the news nor do we care about such matters, frankly speaking. After knowing about it, that’s the only time we were able to pick sides. Individually, we gathered 3 important pieces of evidence that would support our claim. Later on, we discussed it with our partners then compiled our works into a single Powerpoint presentation.  Afterwards, the class was divided into two: those which sided with “Ang Probinsyano” and those with the PNP. We had to write in the board all the things that made our claim right and as well, writing those which would make the opposing side wrong. After such, our teacher, being on ...
